There could be no more appropriate motto. Indeed, the greatest merit of the painter from Ostend lies in his constant play with light, for which he found inspiration in Ostend&#8217;s sunsets. Casco Phil pays tribute to the master of light in the Onze-Lieve-Vrouw ter Duinenkerk in Mariakerke, the church where Ensor is buried. In the intimate line-up of string quartet and percussion, the wealth of colours of musical wizards such as Ravel and Debussy is paired with surprising works by Casarrubios, Jongen and Philip Glass. To conclude the six-part Ensor series played by Casco Phil in Ostend, our own artistic director Benjamin Haemhouts composed the occasional piece <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pro luce<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which will have its world premi\u00e8re here.
