[New Year’s Concert 2027 – New Year on the Orient Express]
All aboard the Orient Express for a musical journey full of style, flair and festive joy.
All aboard the Orient Express for a musical journey full of style, flair and festive joy. From stately London, the train departs with Purcell and Handel, steaming on via Paris and Vienna to Istanbul. Along the way you’ll hear the dark Danse Macabre by Saint-Saëns, the sparkling Trumpet Concerto by Haydn and the notoriously virtuosic Carnaval de Venise by Arban. And as befits a true New Year’s concert, the journey ends in grand Viennese style: with the irresistible waltzes and polkas of the Strauss dynasty. A festive toast to the new year, at full speed!
