[Talent development]
[Golden Hour]
For orchestral or chamber productions with a soloist, Casco Phil works with established soloists and emerging talent. The Golden Hour gives young musicians the chance, via open call, to rehearse for one hour as a soloist or conductor during Casco Phil’s rehearsal time. This allows young musicians to gradually overcome stage fright, experience professional reality, and accelerate their entry into the concert circuit.
[StageForum]
Playing in a professional context remains a long-held dream for many students. Casco Phil offers aspiring orchestral musicians initial stage opportunities through its orchestra academy, StageForum. For large productions, conservatory students strengthen our ranks and gain real-world orchestral experience. Auditions are open via Flemish conservatories (Royal Conservatory Antwerp, KASK & Conservatorium, LUCA School of Arts). Students are guided both during auditions and throughout the programme by conservatory coordinators and Casco Phil’s concertmasters and conductor.
