[The Sound of the City]

Following the success of the previous edition, Antwerp Spring Festival and City Pirates once again join forces for The Sound of the City, a vibrant concert that puts young and diverse voices from Antwerp centre stage.

For months, children and young people from the city worked on their own music, lyrics and ideas, guided by the passionate coaches of River Side Studio and Zuidgeluid. From a new girls’ choir to original songs created in River Side Studio: each project tells its own story, rooted in the world its makers live in.

The result is an energetic encounter between young creatives, professional musicians and the many sounds that give Antwerp its colour today.
