What makes art authentic? Why do we value a work of art? Is it purely about the aesthetic experience, or does the identity of the creator matter just as much? These are the core questions of Black Box — a concert that offers not only a unique listening experience but also a compelling reflection on authorship and the impact of artificial intelligence in the arts.

The title refers to the mysterious process between creative impulse and final result. What happens inside the ‘black box’ of artistic creation? And how do we react when the composer isn’t who we thought?

In a layered musical journey, Casco Phil explores these themes. Each piece challenges the idea of authorship. From well-known works to anonymous compositions — only after the performance is the composer revealed. The audience listens with an open mind, fully focused on the music itself.

Black Box is an invitation to listen without bias — and to rethink art, authorship and authenticity in the age of AI.
