The Eleven O’Clock Mass is a compelling concept by De VELINX and B-Classic, where classical music in its broadest sense enters into dialogue with sharp, contemporary reflections – call it a sermon for the soul.

For this 27th edition on All Souls’ Day, Casco Phil joins the regular house ensemble – Andy Willems, Bert Peyffers and Louise van den Heuvel – for a deeply moving musical and narrative experience.

At the heart of the performance is soprano Noémie Schellens, whose versatile voice brings colour and emotion to the stage. Psychiatrist and grief expert Uus Knops provides the spoken reflection. Since her moving debut about the loss of her brother, she has written several books on grief and vulnerability. As a much-sought-after speaker and author, Uus Knops is helping to reshape how we relate to mourning.

In Paradisum promises to be a ceremony that lingers – in music, in words, in silence.
