Dozens of illuminated drones dancing synchronously in the starry sky to the tones of atmospheric music, forming breathtaking figures and patterns that symbolise the beauty and dynamism of water. Can you see it before you?

As a festive finale for Mechelen’s city festival Construct Europe, Casco Phil is turning this dreamscape into reality, in collaboration with Drones AndLights. The starting point for this spectacle is Georg Friedrich Handel’s iconic Water Music, one of the cornerstones of the Baroque repertoire. Casco Phil has also put together a richly varied programme on the theme of ‘water’, including Smetana’s The Moldau, Claude Debussy’s enchanting Syrinx, and The Swan from Camille Saint-Saëns’s Le carnaval des Animaux

Immerse yourself in an evening of musical wonder and visual poetry, where music and technology come together in perfect harmony.
